Health Care

I am not normally a very political person. But I am extremely concerned about the road our country is traveling and what it may mean for the elderly in our nation and the very young that will be saddled with the costs. Our government not matter who is in power has not shown itself to be a very good at the controls. We all know that the health care system needs to be reworked BUT I don't want the government to tell me because I have had breast cancer twice that I am not a good risk for treatment and the cost maybe wasted on me.
It could happen to any one of us.

It's a beautiful day today! I am going to start a new project soon, another scarf!! And maybe 2 more after that. :) My daughter's both want a scarf this year and I have had so much fun looking for just the right patterns to knit.
I love knitting!!!!!

Back from vacation.
Laughlin was great, the best part being that I got the chance to see my daughters and granddaughters. And of course my son in law. :)

I am soooo looking forward to vacation, which starts tomorrow. Yeah baby!

What a cool thing!
We have 10 duck eggs in the brush at the side of our home. I love living in the country for this reason. So many things going on that you just don't see in the city. I love this! Can't wait to see them hatch.

Ok, I have to raise the bullshit flag today!

Doesn't it bother anyone that this administration and the president allowed airforce 1 to be flown over the city of New York for a photo op and doesn't bother to inform anyone? Are you kidding me after 9/11 and what that city and this country went through? Do we forget so easily what we lost?

Sunny,beautiful day. Long day and even longer week. Some times it doesn't pay to get up in the morning......
However tomorrow is a new day! Does anyone still listen to the Carpenter's?
